Information and Networking at the Glasshouse
|
Our July Information and Networking evening will be held at the Glasshouse on Tues 21st July. “Obviously the Glasshouse development has been a contentious issue, but without a doubt its opening presents opportunities for business and the broader community”, says Liesa Davies our new Executive Officer. “The Port Macquarie Chamber of Commerce is all about developing and growing local business by creating and harnessing opportunities. I’d encourage all members and guests to come along and learn more about the Glasshouse operations to date and how this great resource can support the business community into the future”.
The evening will commence with registration from 6pm for a 6:30pm start. Book your attendance before 3pm Fri 17 July by e-mailing Kerry at info@portchamber.com.au or call 6583 4412. The cost for the evening is $15 (members)/$25 (non-members) and will include finger food and one beverage (additional drinks may be purchased).

Port Macquarie’s population on the move...
|
It was great to see the release of the preliminary findings of the Residential Development Council’s “Australia on the move” report. This estimated that Port Macquarie’s population will increase by 35% to 58,888 by 2027. This places Port as one of Australia's top 20 growth centres.
A copy of the full report will obtained by the Chamber for further consideration on its release, in the next couple of weeks.
